For some time that I didn't update this blog. There's several reasons for that, some are because my family it's getting larger :-) and I had some professional projects that led me to a very intensive months of work.

Today (7 Sep 2009) a new site made with django-blocks was released.

rtclient is a RTorrent XMLRPC (scgi) Cliente for controling a remote rtorrent instance.

I needed to query different database engines with django so I added a manager that adds support for defining wish database settings to use.

Several updates to django-blocks that now supports the latest django 1.1 (trunk) and, has always, many added features and corrections.

I haven't updated the site in a while but I never stoped working on django-blocks.

The latest version on django-blocks supports django 1.0.x and has many added features and corrections.

To be able to create a VirtualBox virtual machine, or any kind of desktop virtualization software, needs to create some kind of virtual disk. The normal way is to use the VirtualBox "Create new virtual disk" wizard but it will create a virtual disk has a file. I prefer to use a physical partition, or disk if you want.

In my Linux machine setup I use LVM to handle partitions/volumes of the disks and I use LVM to handle the creation of virtual disks physical volumes.

After quite some time of inactivity, I'm trying to kick myself into django-blocks again. Updated django-blocks to support the new trunk release of Django.
